Commented on Book Check Genie23dThanks Thomas. Yes, it checks timeline logic and character facts across the whole manuscript, so things like a character's age not adding up or the season jumping between chapters are the kind of slip it looks for. Each one comes with the chapters involved and a quote, so you can judge it yourself. It isn't perfect and can flag things that are deliberate, which is why you can mark them as intended or dismiss them. There's a free sample check if you'd like to see how it handles a real manuscript.Commented on Book Check Genie24dThanks Emre, good question (I'm the builder). Yes: when a check flags something that's actually deliberate, like a character changing on purpose, the author can mark it as Intended, or dismiss it. When you recheck a revised draft, those decisions are carried forward, so it doesn't keep re-flagging the same thing. Everything it flags comes with the chapter reference and the quote, so you can see the evidence and decide for yourself what's a slip and what's a choice.Commented on Book Check Genie26dThank you Josef, much appreciated!Commented on Book Check Genie26dThanks Athanasios, really appreciate it!Commented on Book Check Genie26dThanks Maryam, really appreciate it!
