About

Ever had a photo rejected because it was 2 KB over the limit, or cropped someone's head off to fit Instagram? Six-IR fixes both. Pick a platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Etsy, print and more) and it crops to the exact pixel size, with smart crop keeping faces in frame. Set a maximum file size in KB and it saves the best quality that fits. It opens iPhone HEIC photos, batches 10 photos into one zip, and removes backgrounds on your own device. Free, no sign-up, no watermark, and your photos are never uploaded: everything runs in your browser. Works inside Claude and ChatGPT: add the Six-IR connector (six-ir.com/mcp) and ask "what size is a YouTube thumbnail?" to get the answer and a link that opens the resizer ready to go. Six-IR apps for iPhone, iPad and Android are coming soon.

Who is Six-IR for?

Anyone who posts photos and is tired of guessing sizes: small businesses and Etsy or Amazon sellers, social media managers, creators on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and everyday people who need a photo under a KB limit for a form, a job site or a visa application. No design skills or account needed.

What problem does Six-IR solve?

Every platform wants a different size, and most resizers either crop heads off, add a watermark, make you sign up, or upload your photo to their servers. Forms and job sites also reject files that are a few KB too big. Six-IR crops one photo to every platform size with faces kept in frame, and hits any file-size limit at the best quality that fits.

How is Six-IR different from the alternatives?

It runs entirely in your browser, so photos are never uploaded, and it's free with no sign-up and no watermark. Smart crop keeps faces in frame instead of centre-cropping. You can set an exact maximum file size in KB, open iPhone HEIC photos directly, and batch 10 photos into every size in one zip. It also works inside Claude and ChatGPT through its AI connector.

How much does Six-IR cost?

Free for everything that runs on your device: every size, smart crop, KB limits, HEIC, batches of 10, and AI background removal, upscale and erase. A free account adds a library and 10 AI credits once you confirm your email. Plus is $7.99 a month or $59 a year: Vectorize (SVG), batches of 200 photos and 100 AI credits a month for Expand, Edit with words, Product scene and Face swap.

What's next for Six-IR?

Six-IR apps for iPhone, iPad and Android are coming soon, with the iPhone app in beta testing now. Next on the web: more platform sizes, saved size sets for teams, and more ways to use Six-IR right inside AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT.
